Rarity Tiers Explained

Every Chiikawa in Roll for Chiikawa carries a rarity label that shapes roll hype, equip priority, and Discord trade talk — but rarity alone does not tell you which unit earns the most AFK yen. Chiikawa Inc’s Roblox RNG simulator now lists 500+ Chiikawas on v3.0, mixing standard gacha bands, Secret code rewards, and Event limited crossover units from the retired Anime Event and active Videogames Event. This page explains the ladder from Common through Secret, where event exclusives fit, and how rarity relates to — but differs from — Best Income Tier List and Secret Tier rankings.

Developers publish no official drop-rate table or Trello. Percentages below reflect community experience, not datamined certainty. Re-check after patches in Version History.

Standard rarity ladder

Roll for Chiikawa follows a familiar RNG staircase. Exact odds shift with Luck stat, Roll Speed, rebirth multipliers, and event pools — treat bands as relative, not fixed percentages.

TierTypical pull frequencyDefault equip guidance
CommonVery highReplace immediately; never long-term equip
UncommonHighFiller until first rare+ pull
RareModerateShort mid-game bridge
EpicLow-moderateWorth equipping until legendary/mythic
LegendaryLowStrong income or luck candidates
MythicVery lowLong-term equips pre-Secret
SecretExtremely low / code-lockedTop priority — see Secret Tier page

Luck equips on your avatar during rolling should trend upward through this ladder. Income equips on base tiles care about passive stats first — a legendary with higher cash beats a mythic with weak income (How to Earn Money).

Secret tier and code exceptions

Secret sits above natural mythic rolls for prestige and usually stats. Three Secrets arrive primarily via promo codes, not RNG:

berserkPeter Griffith
death noteLight Yagami

Rolled Secrets still exist in the 500+ pool but code Secrets bootstrap accounts faster than grinding odds.

Event limited rarity band

Event limited is a social-mechanical hybrid:

  • Anime Event — 10 anime-inspired units; ended (extended historically to July 29, 2026) — Anime Event Archive
  • Videogames Event — +10 videogame-inspired units; active in v3.0 — Videogames Event

Event units may display epic/legendary colors yet outperform standard mythics during buff windows. Label them Event limited in planning because availability matters as much as color:

  • While live: farm aggressively (Events Guide)
  • After retirement: collector value; mechanics often normalize downward

Event limited ≠ Secret automatically — compare passives in-game, not banner art.

Rarity vs income tier vs secret tier pages

This wiki splits rankings so you do not scroll one giant table:

PageAnswersUse when
Rarity Tiers (this page)What labels mean, equip priority by bandLearning rolls and collection structure
Best Income Tier ListWho earns most AFK yenOptimizing base and rebirth
Secret TierCode vs rolled SecretsMaximizing luck and top-end power

A mythic labeled lower rarity color than an event epic might still earn more — rarity color misleads if you skip income readouts. Conversely, a Secret with luck focus belongs on avatar during rolls even if income tier lists rank another unit higher for base tiles.

Equip priority decision tree

  1. Avatar rolling session — highest luck Secret or mythic available.
  2. Base AFK layout — highest income stat per tile regardless of rarity color if cash stat wins (AFK Farming).
  3. Event window — test new limited pulls immediately against current equips.
  4. Collection — keep one copy of each rarity for King of Chiikawas leaderboard (How to Play).
  5. Duplicates — low tiers sell or replace; hoard Secrets and retired event units cautiously.

500+ roster context (v3.0)

Launch messaging cited 500+ Chiikawas; v3.0 pushed past 500+ with Videogames Event additions and standard pool growth. Implications:

  • Roll pools dilute unless Roll Speed and Luck scale (Luck and Roll Speed)
  • Collection completion takes longer — rarity tiers help set realistic goals
  • Tier lists update after each event — bookmark Updates Hub

Premium User Rewards (optional Roblox Premium) may accelerate grinding but do not replace rarity literacy.

Rarity mistakes to avoid

  • Equipping commons on base because “higher number somewhere”
  • Assuming event epic beats code Secret without testing
  • Deleting retired event units post-nerf — collector regret
  • Ignoring Codes Checklist while chasing mythic RNG
  • Using rarity alone to time rebirth — income multipliers matter more

Rarity tiers are the vocabulary of Roll for Chiikawa — Common through Secret plus Event limited — but your account progresses on stats, not colors. Learn the ladder here, then let income and Secret tier pages tell you who to equip while you roll through 500+ Chiikawas.

FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions

Quick answers to the most common questions.

What are the rarity tiers in Roll for Chiikawa?

Standard bands run Common, Uncommon, Rare, Epic, Legendary, Mythic, and Secret. Event limited units from banners like the Videogames Event form an additional time-restricted category.

Is Secret the highest rarity?

Yes for standard labeling. ME, Peter Griffith, and Light Yagami are Secret-tier units obtainable via active codes secret, berserk, and death note.

Do event Chiikawas count as Secret rarity?

Not always. Event units may use lower color labels but still be valuable while obtainable. Treat them as Event limited for collection and equip testing.

Should I equip by rarity or income stats?

Use luck stats on avatar while rolling. For base AFK tiles, equip highest income stats even if rarity color is lower — see the Best Income Tier List.

How does v3.0 affect rarity tiers?

v3.0 expanded the roster past 500 Chiikawas and added Videogames Event limited units. Drop pools grew; upgrade Luck and Roll Speed to keep high-tier pull rates viable.
