Getting Started

Roll for Chiikawa is a Roblox RNG simulator by Chiikawa Inc, released June 8, 2026. You roll gacha-style for 500+ Chiikawa characters, equip them for luck (better rarity odds) and income (AFK cash), upgrade Luck and Roll Speed, expand your base, rebirth for permanent multipliers, and chase limited events like the current Videogames Event. This getting started guide is your first-hour roadmap — no filler, just the order of operations experienced players wish they knew on day one.

There is no official wiki or Trello. Community updates flow through luv 4 everyone Discord and the Chiikawa Inc Roblox group. Bookmark our Codes Hub and this guide hub for verified mechanics.

First launch checklist

  1. Join the official place from Roblox search or the link above.
  2. Complete the entire tutorial — code redemption stays locked until you finish.
  3. Redeem all active codes: secret, berserk, death note (see how to redeem).
  4. Equip your best luck Chiikawa for rolling and a strong income unit for AFK.
  5. Spend early cash on Roll Speed before luxury cosmetics.
  6. Expand base slots when income plateaus (how to earn money).
  7. Plan first rebirth only after luck and income curves make sense.

Understanding the core loop

Roll for Chiikawa follows the classic RNG sim triangle:

  • Roll — spend time (and optionally Robux) pulling Chiikawas from rarity tiers.
  • Equip — slot units that boost luck while rolling or income while AFK.
  • Upgrade — invest cash into account Luck stat and Roll Speed multiplier.
  • Expand — unlock base platforms so more Chiikawas generate passive money offline.
  • Rebirth — reset some progress for permanent boosts that accelerate everything above.

Events temporarily add exclusive Chiikawas and banners. The past Anime Event introduced anime-themed units; the Videogames Event is live now — details in the events guide.

Tutorial: do not skip

Chiikawa Inc uses onboarding to teach roll, equip, and Shop navigation. Skipping or disconnecting mid-tutorial causes confusion later — especially around Enter code in Shop on the left side (Shop → Enter code → Redeem).

After tutorial completion you should freely open menus, roll, and redeem. If codes fail, read codes not working — unfinished tutorial is the top cause.

Redeem free Secret Chiikawas immediately

Three codes grant Secret-tier units without RNG pain:

CodeReward
secretME
berserkPeter Griffith
death noteLight Yagami

These Secrets are currently best obtained via codes, not normal rolls. Full redemption steps: how to redeem codes. Track claims on codes checklist.

Equip whichever Secret offers the best luck stat first for rolling sessions. Keep an income-focused equip for AFK base slots. Deep Secret comparisons: Secret Chiikawas guide.

Rolling and equipping basics

Your first natural rolls will mostly be common and uncommon Chiikawas. That is normal — luck stat raises tier odds over time. After each session:

  1. Compare new pulls to equipped luck unit.
  2. Replace equip if luck number increases.
  3. Bank duplicate low tiers for collection or future trading if enabled.
  4. Stop rolling when cash is needed for upgrades — income funds everything.

Do not hoard cash unspent while rolling commons for hours. Upgrade Roll Speed early so each play session produces more rolls per minute. Roll Speed pairs directly with luck and roll speed math.

Income and AFK setup

Passive money matters from hour one. Place income-strong Chiikawas on expanded base tiles and leave the game running AFK when safe. Early expansion is cheaper than late expansion — prioritize one or two base upgrades before cosmetic spending.

If income stalls, switch to how to earn money for slot priority and equip swaps. AFK cash funds Luck upgrades that make your next rolling session statistically better.

Upgrades: what to buy first

General early priority:

  1. Roll Speed — more rolls per hour compounds every luck point.
  2. Luck stat upgrades — shifts rarity table toward epics and secrets.
  3. Base expansion — multiplies AFK income across slots.
  4. Rebirth — only when guide thresholds say multipliers beat incremental upgrades.

Avoid Robux rolling until you understand equip swaps and code Secrets — free ME or Light Yagami often beats paid early rolls.

Events on day one

If you start during the Videogames Event, skim the events guide before rebirthing. Event currencies and exclusive units expire when events end; code Secrets do not. Balance time between event farms and core luck progression.

Common beginner mistakes

  • Rolling without luck equip — wastes sessions.
  • Ignoring AFK income — upgrade costs feel impossible.
  • Rebirthing at rebirth 0.5 because a YouTube title said so — read how to rebirth first.
  • Typo codes (deathnote vs death note) — use Codes Hub copy paste.
  • Chasing tier list flex before economy — tier list matters after fundamentals.

Where to go next

You finished onboarding when you: redeemed three codes, equipped luck + income, upgraded Roll Speed once, and expanded base at least once. Next reads:

Welcome to Chiikawa rolling — slow early hours become explosive once luck, income, and rebirth align.
